Lewis Hamilton has been in phenomenal form since the last two seasons of the Formula 1 championships. He has won some big races and helped his team finish with some great overall results. Lewis Hamilton finished with pole position on the latest Bahrain grand Prix also and he took the second position after Vettel.
The Mclaren team is now second in the overall team positions right behind red Bull racing who leads with 101 points after the Bahrain Grand prix. The team has also seen some dull phases with a lot of crashes and snags during practice runs. Lewis Hamilton finished the race with an average speed of 190 miles per hour. Jenson Button also shined for Mclaren and had a phenomenal run this season.
The championship has yet to reach mid way and the leader board is still wide open for any team to capitalize. All the teams have revealed their machines and the next stop will be Spain on the 13th of May for the 5th race of the season. Mclaren has made a few changes this season on their vehicles as is done every year by the teams in an effort to make the lightest and fastest car on the track. The phenomenal form of Leis Hamilton is on downward slide but still other members like Button has put up a great show. The top team position is being fought over by team mclaren-Mercedes, Red Bull Racing and Lotus. Force India is the new team to look out for which is owned by Indian Liquor Baron Vijay Malya. Force India has also made rapid progress considering that they are absolutely new to the F1 racing circuit.
This edition of the F1 championship promises to be as exciting as ever with new circuits and venues being added to the count and cut throat competition among the top f1 drivers of the world.
McLaren-Mercedes team is looking for title glory in the forthcoming Formula 1 season and is totally positive about his performance. This year, Red Bull Racing is favorite for this season but with some other top contenders such as Ferrari that is still fighting with the realizing of its car and Mercedes that accepts that it is really not in a spot of winning, the title has been eyed on McLaren and a cause of it may also be assigned to the boosting feeling of the team.
More than that, compared to the previous season, there is a major difference as Martin Whitmarsh, the McLaren team boss told a newspaper that they were too bold and the car was neither competitive nor reliable. What they did, turning it around, was an event as they completely changed the rear of the car. They did not trust it as they found a second, if not a second and a half.
After experiencing a troubled previous season, Lewis Hamilton has revealed positive feeling about the forthcoming season, recalling that last year they struggled to do thirty laps in a day. Now they are doing 120 laps, and honestly he cannot recall the last time they did.
More than that, Lewis told that McLaren had been very confident as well as comfortable for a hassle with any rival when he told that he was very pleased with the car’s performance in the second test, particularly in the fast corner.
Jenson Button, Hamilton’s team-mate, is also confident his performance for the upcoming season and has targeted at winning the very first Grand Prix to be held at Australia next month. More than that Button told that if the team would be able to perform in the beginning of this season than it would sure that the game would be on for winning the championship title.

The 2012 F1 schedule continues with the Malaysian GP, Chinese GP and Bahrain GP until McLaren F1 an the other constructors return to Spain for the Gran Premio de Espana Santander. The most spectacular GP of them all, Grand Prix de Monaco, follows. Next we have the Canadian GP, European GP and our home GP, the Bitish Grand Prix at Silverstone.
